FOR YOUR SPLENDOR

I was feeling discouraged so I bought a small pot of purple tulips last week. As I was looking at its flowers this morning, I began to marvel at how the flowers seem to stand taller and straighter as they bloom. I ended up praying that I may become like these tulips, that as I continue to walk with Christ, amidst all trials, I'd bloom like these flowers -- strong, beautiful, and steadfast. All for the glory of God.

James 1:2-4 NASB

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
