The Work of the Holy Spirit

I was reading the Bible about works of the Holy Spirit and His spiritual gifts last night. And as I was praying moments ago, it came to mind that indeed the Holy Spirit can give me the gift of healing, or discernment, or prophesies, or speaking and interpreting tongues and so on. But what I’m most grateful for is the Holy Spirit’s work in me – how He changes me, conforming the truth of the Scriptures in my heart – that I’ve died to my old self, been crucified and resurrected with Christ, and now am a new creation. Through the work of the Holy Spirit within me, God is molding me into the likeness of Christ, creating in me a new heart with new desires. God is so good!
