BLACK AND WHITE
February 16, 2004
I saw my life in black and white
I almost choked
For I’m bored inside
Trapped in gloom
My skies were grey
I burn inside
Craving for some other way
Through it all –
My ups and downs
I’ve met my monsters
And created clowns
I’ve lived my life
As if I was blind
But I had to face my fears
From which I cannot hide
In black and white
I found my strength
And now through the storm
I won’t be bent
Brushed away the figments
He made my colors true
God made me a rainbow
Without missing a hue.
